About the Role

Rose Scale Ltd. is currently looking for a full-time Repair / Calibration Technician. The ideal candidate will perform and assist with the setup, installation, repair, and maintenance of a variety of scales and related products. Daily travel within the Eastern Ontario region is required, with daily returns. Occasional overnight travel may be requested. Must lead by example.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 1–2 years of work experience in an industrial or technical service industry is an asset.

  • 2–3 year college degree in electronic engineering technology, electro-mechanical engineering technology, or electrical engineering technology.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electronic systems.

  • Knowledge in networking and simple network configuration.

  • Proficiency in Word and Excel, with proficiency in technical writing.

  • Willing to learn new skills and software across different systems and manufacturers.

  • Ability to read and interpret simple electronic or electrical drawings.

  • Able to work on-call days, after hours, or weekends as required.

  • Able to travel across Ontario as required.

  • Previous experience in electronic troubleshooting, Industry 4.0, or systems integration is an asset.

  • Valid G license with a clean driver’s abstract.

Physical / Personal Requirements

  • Ability to pass Measurement Canada requirements.

  • Fit and able to work with test weights, rigging, and related equipment.

  • Able to work in hot, cold, and wet environments.

  • Maintain an excellent level of attendance, a clean driving record, and a clean criminal record.

  • Able to work 8+ hours per day and work independently or as part of a team.

  • Good communicator with peers and customers, while maintaining a clean and professional appearance.

  • Ability to prepare paperwork, including work orders and certificates.

  • Follow shop and field workplace safety requirements.

  • Maintain personal and company-owned tools.

About the Role

Rose Scale is looking for a motivated entry-level team member to join our team. This is a hands-on position with a mix of shop work and field support. You will have the opportunity to learn new skills across multiple areas of the business, including scale service, pressure washing, and basic fabrication.

Responsibilities


  • Assist with installation and maintenance of weigh scales

  • Pressure wash equipment and job sites

  • Perform general shop duties such as cleaning and organizing

  • Support technicians on job sites

  • Load and unload materials and tools

  • Assist with basic welding and fabrication when needed

  • Travel to customer locations across Eastern Ontario

What We're Looking For
